Terms of service

The service

Roundabout Guide is a trading name used by Jeremy Vaughan. Our service address is Demesne Farm, Skenfrith, Monmouthshire, NP7 8UF. The service creates and maintains local guest guides for short-term rental properties. You are responsible for checking the property information and recommendations you submit. Event details can change, so guests should check with the venue before travelling.

Your account

You must provide accurate information, keep your sign-in details secure and tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission. You must have authority to submit property photographs, logos and written recommendations.

Subscriptions

The Guide costs £5.99 a month for 1 property, £4.99 per property for 3 to 9 and £3.99 per property for 10 or more (or 10 times the monthly price when paid yearly), unless another written price applies. Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. If you change the number of properties, your charge may be adjusted for the rest of the current billing period. Payments and applicable taxes are handled by Paddle.

Payments and refunds through Paddle

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. This means Paddle handles the payment, billing, taxes, invoicing and refunds for your subscription, as set out in Paddle's checkout buyer terms. Using the service properly

You must not misuse the Roundabout Guide service. In particular, you must not:

• use it for any unlawful purpose, or to promote unlawful activity;
• commit or encourage fraud, or send spam or unsolicited messages;
• infringe anyone's intellectual property rights, including submitting recommendations, photographs or logos you do not have the right to use;
• interfere with the security of the service, including introducing malware, probing or scanning for vulnerabilities, or scraping content other than your own guides.

Who owns what

Roundabout Guide owns the service, including its software, designs, written guides, branding and documentation. You keep ownership of anything you submit, such as your property details, photographs, logo and recommendations, and you grant us permission to use them solely to create and display your guide. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of our service or brand to you, and you may not resell, redistribute or copy guides other than for the properties on your own plan.

Cancelling

You may cancel from your account at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period, and access continues until then. See our refund policy for the circumstances in which a refund may be available.

Availability and responsibility

We work to keep guides useful and current, but cannot guarantee that every venue, event, travel time or third-party link will remain accurate or available. To the extent permitted by law, Roundabout Guide is not responsible for losses caused by third-party venues, events or services. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be excluded.
